Supratours Morocco
Supratours is the coach arm of ONCF, Morocco's national railway, created to extend the train network to cities without a station — above all Essaouira, Agadir and Dakhla. Fares are similar to CTM (around 80–100 MAD Marrakech–Essaouira) and tickets can be combined with a train ticket in a single booking. Coaches leave from stations next to the railway station, so if your hotel is elsewhere you will still need taxis at both ends.
Supratours exists because Morocco's railway stops short of the Atlantic coast south of Casablanca. Rather than lay track to Essaouira and Agadir, ONCF runs coaches that connect at the train station, letting you buy one ticket from Tangier or Fes all the way through to the coast.
That integration is the real advantage: reserved seats, a fare guaranteed even if the train is late, and a departure point that is easy to find. The trade-off is the same as any coach — you travel on the timetable, not yours, and you finish at a station rather than your riad.

Supratours stations to know
Marrakech: departures are from the Supratours office on Avenue Hassan II, immediately beside Marrakech railway station in Gueliz — around 15–20 MAD by petit taxi from the medina.
Essaouira: the station is just outside Bab Doukkala, a five-minute walk from the medina gate but a longer, awkward one with suitcases over cobbles.
Agadir: Supratours uses a terminal near the Al Massira road, with connections onward to Tiznit, Sidi Ifni and Dakhla.
Booking a combined train + coach ticket
ONCF's booking system sells Tangier or Fes to Essaouira as a single itinerary: train to Marrakech, then Supratours coach. The connection is protected, so a late train does not cost you the coach seat.
If your final stop is a riad inside the Essaouira medina, many travellers take the train to Marrakech and switch to a private transfer for the last leg — it is the only option that ends at the door.
