North of Agadir the N1 runs along the ocean through Anza and Aourir — the 'Banana Village' roadside stalls — before the first surf villages appear. The final stretch: tamraght is a few kilometres south of Taghazout on the same coast road, between Aourir and Banana Point. Arriving in Tamraght
Tamraght is Taghazout's quieter neighbour, a hillside village of surf houses and yoga retreats overlooking Banana Beach and Devil's Rock. The upper village is accessed by narrow lanes; some retreats ask guests to meet at the main-road pharmacy or the Tamraght mosque.
