Larger vehicles are priced per class in the table above, so a family of six pays one van fare rather than two taxi fares.
Airport taxi ranks at RAK price by meter or by local zone, so the amount you pay depends on traffic, time of day, luggage surcharges and — where meters are not used — on the fare you negotiate at the kerb. Late-night arrivals are usually the most expensive moment to bargain. Our price is the same figure at 03:00 as at midday, quoted before you travel and paid by card, PayPal or cash to the driver.
What the fare includes: a named chauffeur waiting in arrivals with a name board, flight tracking so a delayed landing costs nothing, free waiting time, all tolls and parking, child seats on request, and free cancellation. There is no extra charge for luggage, for a second stop agreed in advance, or for paying in a different currency.
Marrakech Menara Airport operates Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall, just past customs, holding a board with your name — you never have to find a rank or a car park.
The evening before travel you receive your driver's name, photo and phone number by email and WhatsApp, so you can message them the moment you land. If you clear customs early, they are already there; if you are held up, the waiting time is free.
Taxis from Marrakech Menara Airport are not metered: the fare is negotiated at the rank, and it rises at night and during peak arrivals. A pre-booked Bacharide car removes the negotiation entirely — you approve €22 for the whole vehicle to Marrakech Medina & City Centre before you fly, and that is the amount you pay whatever time you land.
The driver waits in the arrivals hall at the exit from baggage reclaim with a name board, then drives you to your riad, hotel or villa. For riads inside the medina, where cars cannot reach the door, the driver stops at the nearest gate and walks you and your luggage to the entrance — that last part is where an airport taxi usually leaves you.
Menara is only 6 km from Jemaa el-Fna, about 15–25 minutes, and the same fixed-fare booking covers longer runs to Essaouira, Agadir, Taghazout, Ouarzazate and the Atlas valleys. Tolls, luggage, child seats and 60 minutes of free waiting are included.
Marrakech Menara is about 6 km from the medina, around 20 minutes by car. The official taxi fare posted at the airport rank is 100 MAD by day and 150 MAD at night to the city centre, but drivers often open higher with arriving visitors, so agree the price before your luggage goes in. Petit taxis also serve the airport for up to three passengers.
A pre-booked private transfer to the medina or Gueliz is €22 for the whole car, fixed in advance. The driver meets you inside arrivals and takes you to the nearest vehicle access point for your riad, then helps with luggage on foot.
