Arriving in Agadir
Agadir was rebuilt from scratch after the 1960 earthquake, which is why it looks unlike any other Moroccan city: a long crescent of beach, a wide promenade of cafés, and a grid of low modern blocks behind it. There is no old medina to get lost in — the kasbah above the bay is the one surviving fragment.
