Agadir airport to Tamraght transfer

A private Agadir airport to Tamraght transfer covers 40 km in 35–45 min door-to-door and starts from €21 for the whole car, not per person. Tamraght sits between Aourir and Taghazout, about five minutes closer to the airport than Taghazout village itself. Fuel, tolls, luggage and a professional English-speaking driver are included in the fixed price.

Tamraght has quietly become the coast's second surf hub — cheaper than Taghazout, walkable to Devil's Rock and Banana Beach, and full of small camps and apartment rentals rather than resorts. It is 40 km from Al Massira airport, roughly 40 minutes by road.

Because the village is a grid of narrow residential lanes rather than a single strip, drop-offs matter here. Our drivers take the address, not the village name, and reach the actual door wherever a car fits. Boards travel free in the vans and minibuses.

Arrivals into AGA cluster in the evening on the European charter schedule, which is exactly when the taxi rank is most crowded and fares are highest. A pre-booked driver waiting inside the hall skips that entirely.

Agadir airport to Tamraght: transfer, bus or taxi?

Tamraght has no scheduled airport link, so the choice is a pre-booked car, the taxi rank, or two public legs via Agadir. Here is the honest comparison.

Taxi and bus fares are typical 2026 market rates set by those operators. Our price is fixed at booking and includes fuel, board carriage, the driver and 60 minutes of free waiting.

Tamraght, Aourir and Devil's Rock

Tamraght and Aourir (Banana Village) sit either side of the Tamraght river mouth, about 3 km apart, and are usually booked interchangeably by surf travellers. Both are on the same transfer route and priced the same from AGA; Aourir is around five minutes closer.

Devil's Rock and Banana Beach are the local breaks, both walkable from most of the village. Anza and Imourane are a short drive south, Anchor Point and Killers a short drive north — which is why so many guests add a few hours of chauffeur hire mid-week rather than renting a car for the whole stay.

Getting to the door in a village of lanes

Tamraght's residential streets are narrow and steep in places, and unnamed on some map apps. Give us the camp or apartment name and the host's phone number at booking and the driver will have already worked out the access — this is the difference between arriving at your door and being left at the main-road junction with your bags at 23:00.

For the return leg we recommend leaving 45 minutes for the drive plus your airline's check-in window. Al Massira's security queues move quickly outside the Saturday charter peak.
