Aghroud sits on the coast just south of Tamraght, between the Aourir junction and Banana Point. Heading south, the N1 leaves the surf coast at Aourir's banana stalls and follows the shore through Anza into Agadir's port district. From Agadir the A7 motorway climbs through the argan-covered western High Atlas by Amskroud and Argana — tunnels, viaducts and long views — then descends across the Chichaoua plain to Marrakech. Good places to break the drive: the Aourir banana stalls, the service area near Imi n'Tanout and the Argana viewpoints.
