The final stretch: sidi Kaouki lies 25 km south of Essaouira, reached by a side road off the N1 through argan country. Good places to break the drive: the Cap Ghir lighthouse viewpoint, Tamri's banana plantations and an argan oil cooperative near Tamanar.
